Best known as the Birthplace for one of the most famous Scots in History!

Alloway is located in Ayr Scotland. This conservation village is the birthplace of Poet and Lyricist Robert Burns (Rabbie Burns), who is arguable one of the most famous Scot's of all time! So much so his legacy is still celebrated today every January 25th by Scottish people in the form of Burns supper (Burns nicht). This celebration consists of honoring the National Baird of Scotland by eating the traditional Scottish meal of Haggis, neeps, and tatties and reciting Burns' lyrics such as 'Addressing The Haggis' and the 'Selkirk Grace'.
