"The Legend of Maggie Wall" A5 linoprint by Charlie Dear.

The witch monument near the village of Dunning, Perthshire, supposedly commemorates the death of Maggie Wall, who was burnt at the stake as a witch in 1657. But the structure is shrouded in mystery - there is no other monument like it in Scotland. No records of a woman named Maggie Wall have ever been found, and every so often the inscription on the stones is repainted and gifts are left... but by who?
