That's them Shipped!
Our subscribers have been so wonderfully patient with us over the past few months with all the hurdles we've had to jump to start this wonderful subscription box!
First we had an issue with our box supplier running late, then we had an issue with the extra gifts included in the box not arriving in time, then we ran into our first ever brexit issue with exporting goods, and then due to storms and our couriers systems shutting down we were late on posting. Some would have thrown their hands in the air and said "Well, it's a sign!" and given up, but we decided it was all a part of the excitement of the journey!
The truth is, there was too many people to let down to stop now, too much happiness to share, too much excitement to create, and so much to learn.
What started out as just a small idea, sparked into something for every person it touched. I thought I'd be doing it all on my own, but my little team soon started to form (see photos), family members wanted in, so we drew up a plan, set up an in-house work room/packing station, and set off on the massive task we'd created through the help of Cratejoy and Kickstarter!
Packing in our small space was full of laughter and excitement. We thought about each subscriber as we packed and hand wrote their names in their box. We imagined their reactions as they opened them and fantasized about all the wonderful things to come each month.
We also noted what we needed to work on, how things could run smoother and more efficient in future.
We celebrated each and every single box we shipped, wished it luck on it's long journey across the globe, and waited patiently to hear/read that it had arrived! (We're still waiting on some!)
