A month ago we sent out a survey to all our email subscribers with questions about our Scot Box subscription box. The questions included things like 'What do you look for most in a subscription box?' and 'How do you like to pay for a subscription box?'. The answers to these questions were anonymous so we could get the most accurate responses without worry to the person filling them in. After analysing the data this is what we've found...
RESULT FINDINGS
We gave our email subscribers a month to complete our customer service survey. We found the 66.6% of those who responded had purchased at least one Scot Box in the past 3 years. Of the 33.3% who had not purchased a box at all or since lockdown, 22% said they hadn't done so because they had a tight budget that prevented them from being able to spend money on a Subscription box. However, 55% of all people who completed the survey said they preferred a one-off purchase when buying subscriptions over any other way of paying.
100% of those that filled in the survey said they were either somewhat - extremely satisfied with The Scot Box and thought it was between average to above average value for money. 78% of them thought the products they'd received in the box were high quality with the remainder stating they were neither high nor low quality products. 100% of those who had or had not purchased a box prior said they would likely purchase one again/in future.
We also discovered that not only did 50% of them look for the uniqueness or rarity most when ordering a subscription box, but that they also look for boxes that are locally sourced and good value for money.
WHAT WE ARE DOING WITH THESE FINDINGS
These results help us know how to better shape the box for our subscribers needs. Prior to making the survey we had predicted that money is currently tight for our subscribers due to many current factors of todays world and this survey proved that at least 22% of people are struggling to have extra money to spend on themselves at this time. But despite money hardships the majority of people still prefer to pay for a box with a one-off payment instead of a payment plan. This helps us shape how we offer box payment without lowering the quality of product going into the box.
Feedback like this is vital to progressing and keeping The Scot Box fresh so that people like yourself can get the best out of the little piece of Scotland they're receiving.
