As some of you may already be aware, Scotlands first minister of Parliament Nicola Sturgeon announced recently that Scotland is back in full lock down, resulting in the closure of the local High Street, along with no un-essential travel in and out of your local area unless for emergencies or key work that cannot be done from home.
What does this mean for Bonnie Boxes and the trade industry?
Naturally this has caused a lot of trouble for local businesses once again and the worry of closure due to lack of financing. While Bonnie Boxes aims to continue through this lock down and use the resources we have learned from our first major lock down, we are already seeing issues with being able to restock due to delays from our suppliers as they are unable to access materials needed/back-logged in orders. We are also aware that the postal service in our country is overloaded causing major delays in post as well as the possible talk of postal strikes in the near future.
We want our customers and Scot Box family to be aware that we are trying our best to restock and ship out orders as best as we can, and will continue to stay in touch when and if we have any updates.
Please get in contact with us via the website contact form or any of our social media accounts should you have any concerns or just want an update on your order.
We want to thank you for your continued patience with us throughout the pandemic and the understanding you have given for a small business starting up just before and during a global lock down. It is your continued support and patience that has allowed us to be present still and kept us from going under. We hope we can repay you all somehow in future when all this is behind us.
For now, keep in touch and check in with our social media accounts when you can to find out what's current in Scotland.
Stay safe!
Holly Campbell-Smith.
Director of Bonnie Boxes Ltd.
