What is The Scot Box doing about the Coronavirus outbreak?
With the outbreak of Covid-19 that has swept across the globe many businesses have had to re-evaluate how to go about day-to-day business. The Scot Box is doing the same.
We are currently keeping a close eye on how Covid-19 is effecting the economy, our subscribers, and our ability to run as a service. This means we are constantly checking the updates from our postal provider on any possible delays in not only our country but that of those we send our boxes to.
We are also well aware that due to lock-downs and quarantine-procedures many people will not be receiving their regular income for the next few months, and this will mean that you may not be able to renew your subscription like you normally would. We are hoping due to being a small business who are still establishing this means we'll be able to cope with the fluctuation of orders during the next few months and will still be there for you when you need us.
Will there be a delay in receiving my box?
Possibly...
While borders are closing across the globe this is only limited to people and not goods, which means post is still moving, BUT, it is starting to move slowly due to the restriction of person-to-person contact.
Our local postal service has closed due to covid-19 which means we have had to out-source further afield to ship our boxes, and depending on your countries postal service policies, there may be delays due to lack of staff who may be self-isolating.
What happens if boxes can't get to me during the Covid-19 lockdown?
If for some reason international postal services stop we will put boxes on hold until everything is starting up again and pick up where we left off.
This means that you will still receive any boxes you have paid for once the postal service starts up again.
If your boxes are in your country but your postal service has stopped delivering you will need to wait for your postal service to start running again.
I still have questions, how can I contact you?
